Jane’s Matcha is seriously one of my favorite spots! The mochi brownie, toffee chocolate chip cookies & onigiri’s are SO good. The honeycomb matcha is honestly the best, and I’ve also been loving the hojicha lately. I’ve tried matcha from so many different places, but honestly, nothing compares to Jane’s. The staff is always so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely kind. Definitely a must try if you love matcha!

I’ve been going to Jane’s since I moved to Jersey City a year ago And it’s so great to see that she has her own shop now! I went to the grand opening today and we already know the Matcha is good, But the food is also so good!! The spicy crab onigiri…omg. The tamago - yum, and the soba noodles were great too!

Finally a decent matcha cafe is opening near home!! If you've ever spotted Jane’s Matcha at Jersey City farmers markets, you'll be so excited about this! This beloved Jersey City matcha pop-up just opened its first tea room in the Heights!! They use Uji matcha and keep the drink menu small, focusing entirely on matcha so they can really do it well. I also love their food menu goes beyond baked goods. There are savory options like onigiri, sandos, and even soba noodles. The space is thoughtfully designed with tatami seating, shelves showcasing beautiful ceramics and matcha products. ＊Strawberry Matcha/Hojicha Latte $8 You can already tell how rich the matcha and hojicha are just from the color! Both were good, but I ended up liking the hojicha more. The roasted, chocolatey, nutty notes and the strawberry purée were such a perfect match. ＊Matcha & Raspberry Jam Linzer Cookie $5 I loved how the cookie was buttery and crumbly without being too sweet, and the sweet-tart raspberry jam paired so well with the slightly bitter matcha. absolutely lovely matcha!!! the owner and employees are extremely welcoming and always happy to give suggestions and passionate about it. the honeycomb matcha with oat milk is great for people who like a sweet matcha and the honey dew blends with the matcha flavor perfectly with how sweet it is. additionally, the lovely lady suggested us the vanila bean hojicha with whole milk, this was our first time trying hojicha and it tasted like a mild cocoa flavor with vanila like an oreo so i recommend this drink for anyone that loves a sweet drink or wants to try something different than matcha. overall great local place 10/10 for sure 🍵❤️

Finally made it! Jane’s Matcha will definitely be a regular spot for me. I tried the honeycomb matcha latte 100/10! The baristas make every drink with care. Very warm and welcoming space!
